Terms of Service
Last updated
The terms you agree to when you use Ritua, written to be read, not just signed.
Agreement to these terms
Ritua is a habit-tracking app for iOS and Android, operated under the name Supercollective (“we”, “us”) — a personal studio brand, not a separate company. By downloading or using Ritua, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don’t use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under that age, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
Your licence to use Ritua
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to download and use Ritua on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial habit tracking, in line with these terms and the rules of the app store you installed it from.
Ritua, its name, design, and software remain the property of Supercollective and our licensors. These terms grant you a licence to use the app, not any ownership of it.
Your content and data
The rituals, notes, and history you create are yours. As explained in our Privacy Policy, they are stored on your device; we do not host, access, or back them up.
Because there is no cloud copy, keeping backups is your responsibility. Ritua lets you export your data at any time, and we strongly recommend doing so periodically. We are not responsible for data lost through device failure, loss, a deleted app, or a restore you perform yourself. Please keep your own backups.
Purchases, billing, and renewals
All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, with subscription state managed through RevenueCat. You pay the store, not us; we never see your payment-card details.
- Lifetime is a single one-time purchase for the account you buy it with.
- Yearly and Monthly renew automatically each period until you cancel. Your store account is charged for the next period within 24 hours before it begins.
- Manage or cancel a subscription any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings; cancel at least 24 hours before a renewal to avoid the next charge. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue store refunds directly, but we are happy to help you find the right place to request one.
Acceptable use
When using Ritua, please don’t:
- Copy, resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the app.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except to the limited extent the law expressly permits.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with purchase, entitlement, or security mechanisms.
- Use the app to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
- Interfere with the app’s normal operation or use it in a way that could harm other users’ devices.
App stores and third parties
You download and use Ritua through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and payments run through RevenueCat. Your use is also subject to those providers’ terms, and their terms govern your relationship with them.
Where you obtained Ritua from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these terms are between you and Supercollective, not Apple; that Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app; and that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Not medical or professional advice
Ritua is a self-guided tool to help you build and keep everyday habits. It is not medical, health, psychological, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.
Always use your own judgement, and consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your health or wellbeing. You are responsible for the habits you choose to track and act on.
Disclaimers
Ritua is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, or that any defect will be corrected.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Supercollective will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, Ritua.
To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Ritua in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 25. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to Ritua and these terms
We may update the app over time (adding, changing, or removing features), and we may revise these terms. When we make material changes to the terms, we will update the “Last updated” date above and make a reasonable effort to let you know, for example within the app.
Continuing to use Ritua after updated terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree to a change, please stop using the app.
Termination
You can stop using Ritua at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence to use the app if you materially breach these terms or use the app in a way that could cause harm or legal liability.
Sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) remain in effect after these terms end.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you and Supercollective agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
Nothing in these terms affects the statutory consumer rights you have where you live, which apply in addition to these terms.
