Your data & devices
How do I move my rituals to a new phone?
Because Ritua keeps everything on your device (there’s no cloud sync), you move your data with a backup file. On your old phone: Settings → Export Data and choose JSON for a complete backup, then save it or send it to yourself. On your new phone: Settings → Import and pick that file. Your rituals, full history, and settings all come across.
Is my data backed up automatically?
No, and that’s the trade-off of staying private. Ritua has no account and no cloud, so nothing is ever uploaded. Keeping a backup is up to you: every so often, export one from Settings → Export Data (JSON or CSV) and store it somewhere you trust. If a phone is lost or reset without a backup, that history can’t be recovered, because we never had a copy of it.
How do I export or import my data?
From Settings: Export Data gives you a full JSON backup or a plain CSV spreadsheet; Import brings a backup back, or pulls your history in from several other habit apps. It all happens on your device.
Can I use Ritua on two devices at once?
Each device keeps its own data (there’s no live sync), so Ritua isn’t built for using two phones side by side. You can move everything between devices any time with export and import.
Purchases & Premium
How do I cancel my subscription?
The monthly plan is billed by the App Store or Google Play, so you cancel it there, not inside Ritua. iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Ritua → Cancel. Android: Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Ritua → Cancel. Premium stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
I bought Premium but don’t see it. How do I restore it?
Open Settings → Restore Purchases. That re-checks your App Store / Google Play account and re-enables Premium. Make sure you’re signed in with the same store account you bought it with.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, not by us; we never see your payment. On iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, use your order history in the Play Store. If you’re stuck, email us and we’ll point you to the right place.
What’s the difference between Free and Premium?
Free includes up to five active rituals and all the core tracking, reminders, streaks, and export. Premium removes the limit and unlocks more, as a one-time Lifetime purchase, a yearly plan, or a monthly plan. You can use Ritua free for as long as you like.
Privacy
Is my data really private?
Yes. Everything lives on your device, with no account, no cloud sync, and no analytics; we can’t see your habits. See how your data works, or read the full Privacy Policy.
Do you collect any analytics?
No. There’s no analytics or tracking in the app. The only time Ritua uses the network is for optional purchases, handled by the App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat.
Getting started
What is a "ritual"?
It’s simply Ritua’s word for a habit: a small daily practice you want to keep. Create one in a tap and check in each day.
My reminders aren’t showing up.
Reminders are local notifications sent by your phone. Check that notifications are allowed for Ritua in your device’s system settings, and that the ritual actually has a reminder time set in Ritua.
Which platforms is Ritua on?
iOS and Android. Your data stays on whichever device you use it on.
